Services & pricing

What I do, and what it costs

Prices are listed so you know roughly where you stand before we talk. Small jobs have a set price. Bigger jobs get a written, fixed quote before any work starts.

Azure consulting

Cloud fit assessment

$495 fixed

I look at how your business runs today, then give you a written recommendation: what to move to the cloud, what to leave alone, and a realistic monthly cost. If Azure is the wrong fit, the report says so.

The fee is credited toward any project you start within 30 days.

Second opinion

$395 fixed

Send me a proposal you received, a confusing Azure bill, or access to a setup someone else built. You get a plain-English write-up of what looks right, what looks risky or overpriced, and what I would ask before signing.

Azure foundation

From $2,500

I set up your Azure account properly from the start: who can access what, spending alerts, backups, and a home for your apps. It is all written in Terraform, a set of files that describe the setup, so it can be repeated or changed safely later.

Migration

From $1,500

I move an existing website, app, or server into Azure. The switch-over is scheduled for an evening or weekend so your customers and staff are not interrupted. You get a fixed quote after an assessment, because every move is different.

Advisory retainer

$450/month for 4 hours, or $850/month for 8 hours

For businesses that want someone to call. Use the hours for questions, reviewing changes, keeping costs in check, or small fixes to your Azure setup.

Websites

A smaller part of what I do. More about websites.

Website build

$1,500

A clean website of up to 5 pages, built to load quickly and work well on phones. Includes 2 rounds of revisions. You own the site and its files.

Site care plan

$75/month

I host your website, keep it updated, back it up, and make small edits when you need them, such as new hours, a new photo, or a price change.

Everything else

Additional work

$125/hour

Anything beyond an agreed scope or retainer is billed hourly. I tell you before starting anything that would be billed this way.

How pricing works

“Fixed” means fixed.
The price you see is the price you pay for that piece of work.
“From” means it depends on the size of the job.
After a call or an assessment, you get a written scope and a fixed price. Nothing starts until you agree.
Azure costs are separate, and they’re yours.
Anything you run in Azure is billed by Microsoft directly to your account. I don’t mark it up, and I don’t get a cut.
